Welcome to REKO.These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the REKO website and any content, resources, programs or services made available by REKO, including downloadable guides, the Knee Pain Blueprint, exercise programs, videos, educational materials and future paid REKO programs.By accessing, downloading, purchasing or using REKO content, or by selecting a checkbox confirming your acceptance of these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.1. About REKO
REKO provides exercise, rehabilitation and educational resources developed using principles of physiotherapy, clinical exercise physiology, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and exercise science.REKO content may be developed or reviewed by qualified health professionals, including Physiotherapists and Clinical Exercise Physiologists.However, the availability of professionally developed content does not make that content individual healthcare advice.2. General Information Only
All REKO content is provided for general educational and exercise purposes only.REKO content does not constitute individual medical advice, diagnosis, physiotherapy treatment, exercise physiology treatment or other personalised healthcare advice.Our programs are not intended to replace assessment, diagnosis, treatment or advice from your doctor, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.Accessing or using REKO content does not establish a practitioner-patient, clinician-patient or therapeutic relationship between you and REKO or any practitioner associated with REKO.3. Individual Suitability
Every individual, injury, medical history and response to exercise is different.An exercise, recommendation or progression that is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another.Before beginning a REKO program, you are responsible for considering whether the program and exercises are appropriate for your individual circumstances.You should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before commencing or continuing a REKO program if you have an existing injury, illness, medical condition, recent surgery, pregnancy, unexplained symptoms, have been advised to restrict physical activity or are otherwise unsure whether an exercise program is appropriate for you.You should not disregard professional medical advice because of information contained within a REKO resource.4. Exercise and Assumption of Risk
Physical activity and exercise involve inherent risks.These risks may include muscular soreness, aggravation of symptoms, strains, sprains, falls, injury and other adverse health effects.By choosing to perform exercises or participate in any REKO program, you acknowledge that physical activity involves risk and voluntarily choose to participate at your own risk.You are responsible for exercising within your individual ability and limitations and for selecting appropriate resistance, intensity, range of motion, equipment and exercise difficulty.You acknowledge that REKO cannot assess your individual physical condition, medical history, technique, exercise environment or suitability for a particular exercise unless you are separately receiving an individual clinical service from an appropriately qualified practitioner.5. Stop Exercise When Appropriate
Exercise should not be continued through severe, unusual or concerning symptoms.You should stop exercising and seek appropriate healthcare advice if you experience symptoms that are severe, unexpected, rapidly worsening or otherwise concerning.Where symptoms may constitute a medical emergency, seek urgent medical assistance.Any pain scales, symptom guidance, progression criteria or modification recommendations contained within REKO programs are general guidelines only and do not replace individual clinical assessment.6. Your Exercise Environment
You are responsible for ensuring that:your exercise environment is safe and provides adequate spaceequipment is appropriate, secure and in good conditionresistance and loads are appropriate for your abilityyou understand the exercise instructions before commencingyou follow safety instructions provided with the programyou do not perform an exercise where you believe it may be unsafe for you to do so.
REKO is not responsible for consequences arising from unsafe exercise environments, defective or inappropriate equipment, incorrect use of equipment or failure to follow provided instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.7. No Guaranteed Outcome
REKO programs are designed to provide structured exercise, education and progression.Individual outcomes will vary.REKO does not guarantee that participating in a program will eliminate pain, cure an injury or medical condition, prevent future injury, avoid surgery or achieve any particular rehabilitation, fitness or performance outcome.Progress depends on numerous individual factors that may be outside REKO's control.8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, REKO and its directors, employees, contractors, practitioners, authors and contributors are not responsible for loss, injury, damage or expense resulting from circumstances including:using a REKO program in a manner inconsistent with its instructionsperforming exercises that are inappropriate for your individual circumstancesexercising contrary to advice provided by your healthcare professionalfailing to seek appropriate medical or healthcare adviceinappropriate exercise technique, resistance or progressionunsafe equipment or exercise environmentsunauthorised modification or misuse of REKO content.
You remain responsible for decisions concerning your own health, exercise participation and physical activity.Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.9. Intellectual Property and Copyright
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property contained within or associated with REKO is owned by or licensed to REKO.This includes, without limitation:exercise programs and program structureswritten contenteducational materialsvideosphotographsgraphics and illustrationsdownloadable resourcesprogram layoutsbrandinglogosprogram nameswebsite contentdigital resources.
All rights are reserved.Downloading, receiving or purchasing a REKO program does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained within that program.10. Personal Use Only
Unless REKO expressly states otherwise, REKO programs and downloadable materials are provided to you for your own personal, non-commercial use.You must not, without prior written permission from REKO:copy or reproduce REKO materialsshare complete programs or downloadable guides with othersdistribute or upload REKO materialsresell REKO materialsmodify and redistribute REKO materialsuse REKO materials to create competing productscommercially exploit REKO contentremove copyright or branding notices.
You may share links directing others to publicly available REKO webpages and social media content.11. Unauthorised Distribution
REKO reserves the right to take appropriate action where REKO intellectual property is reproduced, distributed, sold, shared or commercially exploited without permission.This may include restricting access to REKO products or pursuing remedies available under applicable law.12.
